Teardrop Silicone Breast Implants Sydney: Before/After Gallery: Before & After Gallery

The major advantage of Teardrop-shaped breast implants is their ability to deliver a more natural, straight-line draping of skin from collar-bone down to nipple and thus avoid the ‘stuck-on look’ due to excessive upper breast fullness that can occur in some patients with Round Implants.

A Teardrop Implant will always deliver a more natural looking breast augmentation than a Round Implant of the same size.

Teardrop Implants can only be inserted through an incision in the fold ‘under the breast’ for the reason that correct vertical alignment of the implant needs to be confirmed under direct vision. For this reason, they cannot be inserted with the Trans-Axillary (Armpit) approach.

While Round Implants can be filled with either silicone or saline, all Teardrop Implants are only filled with silicone.
