Dr. Sepehr Lajevardi is a Sydney-based Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specialising in aesthetic surgery of the breast and body.
After graduating in Medicine from the University of NSW in 2009, “Dr Sep” as we like to call him, went on to complete his junior medical training at Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital, followed by 5 years of advanced surgical training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
Dr Sep’s keen interest in research has led to his many publications in peer-reviewed journals and more than 50 presentations at national and international conferences. On top of his qualifications in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Dr Sep chose to further his skills by way of additional training specifically in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery through post-graduate training fellowships with leading Sydney Plastic Surgeons at Macquarie University Hospital, East Sydney Private Hospital, and St Luke’s Hospital.
With a philosophy to give back to the profession some of what he received, Dr Sep has a keen interest in mentoring the next generation of doctors and, currently, he holds the position of Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Dr Sep is also a founding member and the immediate Past Chairman of the international charity organisation known as DAISI – short for ‘Doctors Assisting in South Pacific Islands’ – which organises much needed surgical trips and medical supplies to our neighbouring Pacific communities.
Dr Sep prides himself in his meticulous approach to surgery. His paramount consideration is always patient satisfaction by delivering excellent results in a caring and compassionate way.
When not working, Dr Sep enjoys spending time with his young family and travelling.
